Now that DVDs have taken over, many of us have a ton of VHS video tapes we aren’t using any more. Rather than put them in a landfill send to Alternative Community Training. It’s a non-profit company in Missouri that provides jobs to people with disabilities. There the tapes are erased and the ones that are in good shape are re-sold and the rest of them are recycled. So far they’ve recycled over 1 million tapes! To mail them the cheapest way, mail them through USPS as Media Mail to:
