ZEHNDER’S MAKES A SPLASH!
Located in Frankenmuth, Splash Village Hotel and Waterpark has a fairyland theme and has been open since 2005. It includes a huge splash bucket, 4-story tube slides, zero-entry wading pool, a lazy river, hot tub. Call 800-863-7999 for more informtion.
BAVARIAN BATHS
The Bavarian Inn hosts the city’s original water park. It features five indoor pools, a lazy river, and three whirlpools. It also has an indoor mini putt-putt golf course for after-swimming fun! Call 888-775-6343 for more information.
AVALANCHE BAY
Located at Boyne Mountain, Avalanche Bay hosts the state’s largest indoor water park. With 88,000 square feet of water fun, the water park includes a 346-foot long lazy river, a 40-foot tall waterslide, the twirling, swirling Vertigo Cannonbowl, the 280-foot Downhill Mat Racer, and the Super G tube which twists and turns indoors and outdoors before coming to a slash-ending. NORTHPOINTE INN’S 21,000 SQ. FT. WATERPARK
Located on the southend of town near the Mackinac Island ferry docks, this water park hosts a 250-foot lazy river, a kiddie pool with interactive water games, two 3-story water slides, a 500-gallon water splash bucket, and a 17-person whirlpool. Call 231-436-9812 for more information.
DOUBLE JJ RANCH AND GOLF RESORT
This resort is home to a 60,000 sq. ft. mining camp themed water park with Michigan’s tallest slide at 57 feet. It does a 360 over the parking lot and snakes through teh hotel lobby before dumping its riders. It also has a four-person raft ride, a multi-level play structure, a tipping mine cart which routinely dumps 800 gallons of water and Miner’s Plunge which spoins four raft riders around a big bowl. SPLASH UNIVERSE RIVER RUN
Located in Dundee next door to the 163-room Holiday Inn Express, this water park has a lazy river, a zero-entry tot pool, a play fort leading to three different slide, a 500-gallon tipping bucket, water shooters, two water slides that twist and turn. With the fre Adventure Quest Kid’s club, a guid will lead your little ones on a day of fun from arcade trounaments to crafts allowing parents to head out for some water fun themselves!
