Very easy juice popsicles anyone can make!…Even Dad!!!  One weekend when I was away my husband, Art, decided to make juice popsciles. When I opened the freezer to see them I thought, “What in the world?!….” Youl’ll see why!

What you’ll need:

  • a plastic ice cube tray
  • enough metal (not plastic) spoons or popsicle sticks to go in each “cube”
  • juice of your choice

Basically just fill the ice cube tray with the juice and place it on a shelf in the freezer next to the wall.  Once it’s in there, place a metal spoon or popsicle stick in each cube and use the side of the freezer to hold them up.  (I’m not sure how he got the ones in the row furthest from the side of the freezer to stand up).  Anyway, let them stay in there until they’re frozen.  Then he placed the tray in a sink of shallow hot water to loosen them and then he twisted the tray like you do when you get ice cubes out, to get them out.  They didn’t seem to break into pieces and the kids just thought they were the greatest invention ever! (Now why didn’t I think of that?)  Yes, they were crooked on the spoons but the kids didn’t care about asthetics!
