Homeschooling is becoming more and more prevelant as the challenges to meet individual students’ needs increase. Some good friends of mine, Lori and Brad, have a daughter, Leah, with Down’s Syndrome. The public school Leah was attending claimed to be able to meet Leah’s special needs but in the end failed to meet their expectations. After a lot of thought and prayer she decided to homeschool Leah and her younger sister, Laney. Here is what Lori has to say to help you along the path of making this decision and where to go for more information if you decide to homeschool your child.
